Günster Waterfall

One of the most impressing natural sights of Syria is the province’s highest waterfall at 65 metre. Between Schöder and Krakaudorf the Günstner Waterfall plunges over the prehistoric boulders of the Schladminger Tauern into the Künstenbach. More than 200 litres water roar over the three cascades every second.

Both sides of the waterfall are connected to dark, mythical spruce forests, in whose undergrowth bilberries are waiting to be snacked upon.
The entire round takes about one and three-quarter hours from the parking place on foot.
