CASTLE OF STRECHAU
Strechau Castle is the second-largest fortification in Styria, it was remodeled into a renaissance castle in the middle of the 16th century. Strechau is also home to an impressive collection of historic automobiles.The castle is open every year from May until the end of October, from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 AM and 4 PM. Visitors can join guided tours at every hour.

STEINSCHLOSS CASTLE RUIN
Once, the ruin was an extensive, heavily fortified castle on the top of the mountain east from Teufenbach. It is the highest located former fortress of Styria at an altitude of 1180 m. The castle was 5 stories high had five round towers with battlements. The ruin is in the hand of a local association and is slowly being restored.

THE CASTLE OF ROTHENFELS
The Castle of Rothenfels in Wölzertal is one of the few medieval castles that keep their original appearance up today. The main building of the castle was built in the 12th century on a naturally reddish spur.

SCHLOSS LIND
Local museum and memorial for the concentration camp Mauthausen. The castle was built in the 17th century, today it serves as a house for exhibitions.
