WOOD MUSEUM IN ST. RUPRECHT OB MURAU
Get to know the thousands years old history of wood!
Special exhibitions, handicraft and creative workshops, wood and water themed playground and guided tours in July and August into a botanical garden - the museum is waiting for everyone who's intrested in the adventurous ways of the wood.
At the exhibition visitors can see all kinds of wooden articles - simple wooden toys, wooden bike or paisant furnitures - even tools of ancient handcrafts.

RAILWAY MUSEUM KNITTELFELD
More than 1000 m2 of exhibition space and 16 theme rooms to show you interesting facts about the history of the railway and the social and daily life of the railwaymen.
The museum's special attraction is a railway cap collection that is registered in the Guinness World Records and currently includes 1600 pieces of service caps.
The exhibition includes a big collections of service pocket watches, railway ball donations and memories. The museum building is open from 1 April to 31 October, Tuesday to Sunday, between 9 am and 5 pm.

THE BENEDICTINE ABBEY AND MUSEUM OF ST. LAMBRECHT
The Benedictine Abbey of St. Lambrecht is a community and a benedictine monastery in Styria inside of the Grebenzen nature park in Austria. The collection of his museum provides an exciting insight into its more than 900 year history.
Daily guided tours in the museum: from May 15 til October 15.

VW-BUG MUSEUM GAAL
The VW-Bug Museum in Gaal, Styria presents this legendary model in its total multiplicity with wonderful exhibits that show the history of the famous car from start to rebirth. Design, reliability, extravagance: fans of the model will love this exhibition!
On 350 m² square space, the VW-Beetle Museum does not only have exhibition rooms full of beautiful vintage cars but you will also have the chance to demonstrate your driving skills by trying one of the three race simulators.

MILITARY AVIATION MUSEUM ZELTWEG
In 2005, the Military Aviation Museum was opened in Hangar 8 at the main air force base of the EuroFighter in Austria. The Airport of Zeltweg is also an Austrian Air Force Base, where the Eurofighter Typhoon fighters start and land.
The museum was established in a remote old building in which the airplanes and other military relics are covered and well protected against the elements of the weather.
Inside the building visitors can observe the collection of various military aircrafts from a gallery upstairs. The exhibition also includes various military uniforms, board equipments and other military relics.
